Mission & Vision PT II – Executing our Vision

So picking up where I left off…we had a plan. A rudimentary one at best. We were going to open a CrossFit in Downtown Front Royal and it was going to be AWESOME and EASY and everything would just kind of fall into place.

So here we are, a year later and we’re STILL in the renovation phase. Our long awaited bathroom project is wrapping up and will hopefully be complete by the end of the month. Our nutrition center is nearly complete, just a few finishing touches left. And our upstairs multi-use room is getting AC installed, just in time to host the last 4 weeks of our first HIIT class.

But more important than all those things is the fact that we are getting closer to achieving our Mission and Vision.

Vision Statement
At BattleGrounds Fitness, we want to educate and empower the residents of Front Royal and the greater Warren County community with the necessary fitness skills and knowledge for them to live happier, healthier lives from their earliest years as “Kids” through adulthood and into their advanced years as “Legends.”

People have now started to hear about us. They are telling their friends and families about our classes. We’ve signed up some folks for Personal Training sessions and we launched our HIIT program. We’re hopeful to bring back our Kid’s Fitness program in August or September. And we’re gotten a few clients that fall in the “Legends” category. Now we are exploring the possibility of breaking off a separate program for Front Royal’s 60+ community specifically to meet their fitness needs.

We did a Kids Moove on Zoom during the shutdown and were able to coach kid’s in the safety of their homes. We look forward to being able to coach kid’s once again in our facility.

And we’ve really shifted our focus to a building block of health and wellness…Nutrition. We are working on bringing on someone to help run our program and really focus on that fundamental building block. Yes, we can teach the fitness skills but it is the knowledge that is so very important. And know what and how much to eat is essential to our athlete’s success in the gym.
